As of October 2015 this tutorial outlines how to export your LinkedIn connections. LinkedIn is not a professional resume service. It is an opportunity to grow your network and make real connections. There are plenty of methods to the madness of trying to sync all of your contact databases. I personally loath the fact that my contact data has been segmented across different channels. By exporting your contacts you can create unique queries to identify duplicates, add identifying tags and thereby facilitating a clean contact database.
